Job Duties:

  • Supporting experienced teachers in delivering lessons
  • Assisting in planning and preparing educational materials
  • Providing one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions
  • Observing and learning teaching methods and classroom management techniques
  • Participating in staff meetings and training sessions

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

No prior teaching experience required, but any relevant experience in a school setting would be beneficial

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Passion for education and working with young learners
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Basic understanding of educational theories and practises

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with children or young adults

Working Conditions:

The role will primarily be based in a school environment, with regular hours during term time. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for school events or meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
