ROLE: General Cover Supervisor – Future Teacher Programme

Are you a graduate considering a teaching career? But first wanting to gain some classroom experience.
I am working with several mainstream Secondary schools in Worksop who are looking to recruit a number of cover supervisors initially temporary basis (future opportunities for permanent positions.) Within this role you will be leading classes across all departments, delivering preset work and managing classroom behaviour.
Our schools are keen to support graduates as future teachers, providing support and training with behaviour management and offering opportunity to gain experience in a selected department to support with their subject specialism.
The ideal candidate will have some experience working within a school setting, be confident and demonstrate the confidence and capability to lead classes of students and manage challenge behaviour. A subject specialism would be advantageous.
Contract Details:
- Full time or part time roles (Monday – Friday or min. of 3 days per week).
- Working hours 8.15/8:30am – 3:15/3.30pm
- Term time only – in line with the Notts. academic calendar.
