Job Title: Girls' PE Teacher

Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, North Yorkshire, Redcar

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging physical education lessons for girls
  • Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Organise and supervise sporting activities and events
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the physical education curriculum

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Physical Education or relevant field
  • Knowledge of national curriculum requirements for PE

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience teaching PE to secondary school students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations in sports

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with a focus on PE
  • Experience coaching sports teams

Working Conditions:

  • Temporary position with the possibility of extension
  • Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday
  • Work within a supportive school environment
