Job Title: Female Physical Education Teacher

Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, North Yorkshire, Redcar

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time

Job Duties:

  • Lead engaging and impactful physical education lessons to female students
  • Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans in accordance with the national curriculum
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing personalised feedback and support for improvement
  • Organise and supervise sports activities, competitions, and events
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum for physical education

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience teaching physical education to secondary school students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations in sports and physical education

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) specialising in Physical Education
  • Experience coaching sports teams or leading extracurricular activities
  • First Aid certification
