Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons to female students
- Develop and implement age-appropriate physical education curriculum
- Assess students' physical abilities and track their progress
- Provide feedback to students and parents on performance and areas for improvement
- Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Specialism in Physical Education
- Enhanced DBS check
- Experience teaching physical education to secondary school students
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a similar role
Pay rate is dependent on experience & qualifications
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum for physical education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students
- Organisational and time-management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent
- First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a school setting, interacting with students, parents, and colleagues. The teacher may need to participate in school events and sports competitions outside of regular school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
