Salary: £120 - £200 per day (based on experience)
Are you passionate about teaching Geography and helping students understand the world around them? Protocol Education is seeking a dynamic and qualified Geography Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Newcastle.
About the Role
As a Geography Teacher, you’ll ignite curiosity and foster a love for learning about our planet. You’ll teach engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, and possibly Key Stage 5, inspiring students to think critically about the world’s challenges and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential).
- Encourage critical thinking and a global perspective among students.
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the Geography curriculum and school community.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
- Experience teaching Geography at the secondary level (KS3/KS4; KS5 a bonus!).
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to inspiring and motivating students to achieve their best.
