Salary: £140 - £200 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Temporary (with potential for long-term placement)

Protocol Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Sunderland. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and help them understand the world around them through engaging geography lessons.
About the Role
As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver the curriculum to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, creating interactive and informative lessons that bring geography to life. You will support students in developing critical thinking skills and a deeper appreciation for both physical and human geography.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality geography lessons that cater to varying student abilities.
- Use creative teaching methods to engage students in topics such as climate change, global development, and physical landscapes.
- Assess, record, and report on student progress, providing feedback to encourage their academic growth.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school meetings, training, and extracurricular activities.
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK with a specialism in Geography or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Geography at the secondary school level (KS3 and KS4).
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for helping students understand the complexities of the world.
- Excellent classroom management skills and a creative approach to teaching.
- A commitment to safeguarding and supporting student welfare.
