Are you a committed and dedicated Geography Teacher. Are you currently looking for a new opportunity in an excellent school in Sheffield. The school is ofsted graded OUTSTANDING and has its own world class status. The school is close to the local train station and bus stops.
This role is to start in September and initially run to Christmas. Its a full time role where you will be expected to teach KS3 to KS5 students and will include all planning, marking and additional responsibilites.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Geography lessons.

Successfully manage the behaviour of the class following the school’s behaviour policy.

Foster positive relationships with students by being a role model and ensure students achieve their full potential.

Work collaboratively with the Head of Department and the rest of the team to ensure the smooth running of the school day and that students achieve the best outcomes.

Act as an ambassador for Protocol Education by being punctual and professional at all times.
You should apply for this role if you:
-
Hold QTS or PGCE equivalent with a Geography background.
-
Have strong subject knowledge and are confident at delivering Geography lessons at all levels.

Have a minimum of 6 months’ experience in an educational setting, ideally teaching Geography or any other Humanities-related subject.

Are an excellent communicator and have a natural ability to work and build positive rapport with young people.

Have good knowledge of child protection and safeguarding guidelines (an up-to-date DBS that is registered on the Update Service is desirable but not essential at this stage).

Have the ability to work collaboratively as well as taking ownership of your own workload.
