Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Geography Teacher to join our team and deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our diverse student population. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment and inspire students to reach their full potential.

Job Duties:

  • Plan and prepare engaging lessons that align with the national curriculum.
  • Deliver lessons to a diverse group of students with varying abilities.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A Bachelor's degree in Geography or a related field.

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Geography or related field.

Experience:

Prior experience teaching Geography at the secondary school level.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Geography.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective classroom management abilities.
  • Passion for teaching and inspiring students.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations.

Working Conditions:

  • Temporary position with full-time hours.
  • No umbrella fees - paid via PAYE.
