Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a conducive learning environment
  • Provide cover supervision for absent teachers
  • Follow school policies and procedures
  • Assist with extracurricular activities and events

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working in a classroom setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching styles

Education:

  • Degree in Education or relevant subject

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in teaching or cover supervision

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of the national curriculum
  • Effective classroom management techniques
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional teaching certifications
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
