ROLE: General Cover Supervisor – Future Teacher Programme

LOCATION: THORNE

Start Date: ASAP

Are you a graduate considering a teaching career? But first wanting to gain some classroom experience.

I am working with al mainstream Secondary schools in Thorne who are looking to recruit a number of cover supervisors initially temporary basis (future opportunities for permanent positions.) Within this role you will be leading classes across all departments, delivering preset work and managing classroom behaviour.

We are keen to support graduates as future teachers and provide support and training with behaviour management and offer the opportunity to gain experience in a selected department to support with your subject specialism.

The ideal candidate will have some experience working within a school setting, be confident and demonstrate the confidence and capability to lead classes of students and manage challenge behaviour. A subject specialism would be advantageous.

Contract Details:

-          Full time or part time roles (Monday – Friday or min. of 3 days per week).

-          Working hours 8:30am – 3:15pm

-          Term time only – in line with the Doncaster academic calendar.
