Job Duties:

  • Participate in a structured teacher training programme
  • Observe and learn from experienced teachers
  • Assist in lesson planning and delivery
  • Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities
  • Gradually take on more teaching responsibilities under supervision

Required Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree in Education or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for education and a desire to pursue a career in teaching

Education:

Degree in Education or related field

Experience:

No prior teaching experience required, but any relevant experience in education or working with children is advantageous

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of educational principles and practises
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience volunteering or working in educational settings

Working Conditions:

This role will primarily be based in a school setting, with regular hours from Monday to Friday. Some evening or weekend work may be required for training sessions or events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
