Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant Needed!

I am working with a lovely school in the Lewisham area, and they are looking for a Full-Time, experienced SEND Teaching Assistant. It will be your responsibility to ensure that you are supportive of the schools policies and procedures, supportive of the class teacher in managing students behaviour and supportive of class activity planning, implementing and adjusting according to students individual needs and abilities. You will also be responsible for working with students within the classroom, in small groups and on a 1:1 basis. Please be aware you may be placed within a primary or secondary class, based on your experience.
The successful applicant MUST:
- Have the Right to Work in the UK.
- Have strong experience within Special Educational Needs – Ideally, SEMH, Challenging Behaviour, ASC
- Have the correct Safeguarding training or be willing to complete a FREE course provided by us
- Have the correct DBS documentation on the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
