Role Overview:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the learning and development of students with special educational needs. You will work closely with the class teacher to create an inclusive learning environment, providing tailored support and ensuring each student can engage with the curriculum effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with SEND in both individual and group settings.
- Assist with the delivery of tailored educational programs and interventions.
- Foster a positive and nurturing environment that encourages learning and independence.
- Work closely with the class teacher to monitor and track student progress.
- Assist in managing students’ behaviour in a positive and constructive way.
- Help students with personal care needs (if required).
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children, particularly those with SEND, is desirable but not essential.
- A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting students.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- You MUST hold an Enhanced DBS check or be willing to apply for one that is on the update service. You MUST also hold the correct Right to Work in the UK documentation.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
