Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and effective maths lessons to students
  • Plan and prepare teaching materials in line with the curriculum
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress regularly
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Education:

Relevant degree in Mathematics or related field

Experience:

Prior experience teaching mathematics at the secondary school level

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum for maths
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective classroom management abilities
  • Ability to differentiate teaching methods to meet the needs of all students

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)

Working Conditions:
