Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging French lessons to students
- Assess and evaluate students' progress
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) desirable but not essential
- Degree in French or related field
- Fluency in French language
Education:
Bachelor's degree in French or related field
Experience:
Prior experience teaching French at the secondary school level
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of French language and culture
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organisational and time-management abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience using technology in the classroom
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a school setting, following the academic calendar. Full-time hours are expected, with occasional extracurricular responsibilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
