Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in French or Spanish to students
  • Create and implement lesson plans in accordance with curriculum guidelines
  • Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback on their language skills
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment in the classroom
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) desirable
  • Degree in French, Spanish, or a related field is essential
  • Fluency in French or Spanish is essential

Education:

Bachelor's degree in French, Spanish, or a related field

Experience:

Prior teaching experience in French or Spanish is essential

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficient in both written and spoken French or Spanish
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience using technology in language teaching
