Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students across various age groups and subjects
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate with parents when necessary

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different school settings

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Prior experience in teaching or working with children preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum
  • Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics
  • Proficiency in using educational technology
  • Excellent organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Specialist subject knowledge

Working Conditions:

  • Normal working hours with occasional requirement for flexibility
  • Work in various schools within the designated area
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
