Protocol Education Agency is seeking nurturing and dedicated Supply Nursery Assistants to join our team on a flexible daily supply basis. As a Supply Nursery Assistant, you will have the exciting opportunity to work in a variety of nurseries across Camrbidge and the surrounding areas, providing essential support to childcare professionals and helping to create a stimulating and safe environment for young children.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Childcare Support: Assist nursery staff in providing high-quality care and support to children aged 0-5 years, including feeding, changing, and engaging in age-appropriate activities.

  2. Play and Learning Activities: Engage children in stimulating play and learning activities, both indoors and outdoors, to promote their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.

  3. Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to health and safety regulations, including supervising children, sanitizing equipment, and ensuring the cleanliness of play areas

  4. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with nursery staff to plan and implement daily routines, activities, and experiences that meet the individual needs and interests of the children.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a nursery or early years setting, is desirable but not essential.
  2. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
  3. Patience, empathy, and the ability to engage and communicate effectively with young children.
  4. Flexibility and adaptability to work in different nursery settings and with children of varying ages and needs.
  5. Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
  6. Availability for flexible daily supply work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
