EYFS Teaching Assistant wanted from September 2024

This role involves working with young children in an educational setting. The working hours are typically full-time during school hours, term time only. Some flexibility may be required in terms of working hours and responsibilities.

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with EYFS teachers to deliver high-quality early years education
  • Support the development and learning of children aged 3-5 years old
  • Create a secure, nurturing, and engaging environment for children
  • Engage children in activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social growth
  • Assist in planning and preparing educational materials and resources
  • Observe and document children's progress and behaviour

What is required:

  • Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
  • Must pass an Enhanced DBS check
  • Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Patient and empathetic approach when working with young children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
