EYFS Teaching Assistant - Redcar
Salary: £85 - £95
Working hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm (term time)

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and qualified Level 3 Early Years assistant to join a lovely school in Redcar starting in September 2024.
Our partner school prides itself on their early years offering and are looking for someone who can contribute effectively to its continued success.
Requirements of the role:
- Qualified to a level 3 (or equivalent) in Childcare / Early Years / Teaching & Learning.
- Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within an Early Years setting.
- Sound understanding of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and a team player.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the school's early years department.
- Encouraging learning through play.
- Creating fun and safe enviroments for the children.
- Attending to the overall care of the children in the Nursery class.
- Supporting children with additional SEN needs when necessary.
- Working 1:1 and in small groups with the children.
- Promote positive behavior management techniques and encourage children's independence and self-esteem.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
