We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Class Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and shape the minds of our youngest learners, making a real difference in their early education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching: Provide a stimulating and engaging learning environment, focusing on the development of key skills in communication, literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional growth.
- Plan and assess: Develop creative, differentiated lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of young children and assess their progress regularly.
- Foster a love of learning: Create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere where children are encouraged to explore, ask questions, and develop a sense of curiosity.
- Work collaboratively: Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and outside professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child.
- Safeguarding and wellbeing: Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and pastoral care of all children in your class, adhering to school safeguarding policies.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is passionate about early years education: You are committed to providing a high-quality learning experience for young children and helping them reach their full potential.
- Is qualified and experienced: You hold a valid teaching qualification (QTS) and have experience working in an Early Years setting. NQTs are also welcome to apply.
- Has excellent communication skills: You can communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Is creative and adaptable: You can bring fresh ideas to the classroom and adapt your teaching to meet the needs of individual children.
- Is a team player: You enjoy working collaboratively and contribute to a positive, supportive school culture.
