Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons for Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) students
  • Implement effective classroom and behaviour management strategies
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues
  • Collaborate with other staff members to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

Required Qualifications:

  • PGCE in Early Years Education
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in an Early Years setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Safeguarding
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school setting with young children. The teacher may be required to attend meetings, workshops, and training sessions outside of regular school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
