Early Years Teaching Assistant - HAYES
Are you passionate about working with young children and making a positive impact on their early education? We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join an outstanding school in Hayes.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons and activities for children aged 3 to 5.
- Support individual students in their learning, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters children's social, emotional, and academic development.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum effectively.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing feedback and reporting to the class teacher.
- Assist with the preparation and organization of classroom materials, resources, and displays.
- Help with the supervision of children during break times, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience working with young children, preferably in an educational setting.
- A strong understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with children and create a nurturing learning environment.
- A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ideally, a relevant qualification such as a Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a teaching assistant qualification.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
