EYFS SEN Support
Role: SEN TA in EYFS Classroom
Location: Newcastle
Salary: £83 - 93 per day (dependent on experience)
A SEN school in Newcastle are looking for an EYFS TA to help support the pupil's in the EYFS classroom. This school is highly valued within the community, and an excellent establishment that supports children with additional needs by helping create routines and support the development of their skills in preparation for post-academic life.
Responsibilties:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to EYFS students with SEN needs, assisting with academic tasks and promoting positive behaviour management strategies.
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting self-esteem, confidence, and resilience.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to deliver exciting and engaging learning experiences.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, adapting materials and activities to accommodate students' diverse learning needs.
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for supporting the educational and emotional development of vulnerable students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
- Flexibility, patience, and resilience in managing challenging situations and behaviours.
- Previous experience working with children with additional needs is desirable but not necessary.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
