We are working with a vibrant and dynamic primary school located in Redcar, dedicated to providing an exceptional learning environment for their students. Their mission is to foster a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere where every child can thrive and reach their full potential. Protocol Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced EYFS Lead to join our passionate team and contribute to the growth and development of our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) program within the school.

Job Description:

As the EYFS Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of young learners. You will be responsible for leading the EYFS team, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, and fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing the EYFS team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Developing and implementing a creative and engaging EYFS curriculum that meets the needs of all children.
  • Monitoring and assessing the progress of students, using data to inform planning and interventions.
  • Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community to support each child's development.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the EYFS setting.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with substantial experience in EYFS.
  • Proven track record of effective leadership and management within an EYFS setting.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
  • Passionate about early years education and committed to achieving the highest standards of teaching and learning.
  • Innovative, flexible, and proactive approach to problem-solving and curriculum development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
