Secondary English Teacher Needed for a thriving SEMH School
A specialist school for students with a range of Social, emotional and mental health needs in Clacton is looking to appoint a committed and innovative English teacher.
This role is open to both experienced teachers and newly qualified teachers. Newly qualified teachers would be well supported by the schools own ECT programme.
The school offer a triangulated approach ensuring students are at the centre of all decision making, providing education and therapy professionals, parents/carers, local authority teams and, most importantly, our students the abiility to work together to secure outstanding outcomes for all.
Ideal candidates will have:
- To have a thorough and up to date knowledge of your subject, and take account of wider curriculum developments
- To consistently and effectively use a range of appropriate strategies for teaching and classroom management
- To consistently and effectively use information about prior attainment to set well-grounded expectations for pupils, and monitor progress to give clear and constructive feedback
