We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Shropshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher looking for a long-term role in a supportive and dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to meet the needs of students across varying abilities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to achieve their best.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to promote improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and extra-curricular activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English.
  • Experience teaching English at the secondary level is highly desirable.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Local to the Shropshire area or willing to commute.
