Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative and engaging English lessons for Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 students.
- Inspire students to develop a love for literature, language, and writing.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning.
- Contribute to departmental meetings and collaborate on curriculum development.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Provide support and guidance to students both academically and personally.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be a qualified English Teacher with a relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
- Have experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 is desirable).
- Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
- Be adaptable and flexible in their approach to teaching and learning.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
