Protocol Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Newcastle. If you have a passion for literature and language, and want to inspire young people to become lifelong readers and writers, we want to hear from you! As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, helping students develop their reading, writing, and analytical skills.
In this role, you’ll create exciting lesson plans that spark curiosity, build confidence, and foster a love of English. You will assess student progress, provide feedback, and ensure that students are fully prepared for their exams. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive department that values creativity and innovative teaching methods.
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A passion for English and teaching at secondary level
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to inspire students and help them achieve academic success
- Experience teaching GCSE and A-level English is desirable
