As an English Teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping them develop essential literacy skills and a deep appreciation for literature. You will be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to engage with the subject and achieve their full potential. Your creative teaching methods will spark curiosity and excitement for reading, writing, and language development.

Key responsibilities include:
Delivering high-quality English lessons that stimulate student interest and foster a love for language and literature
Planning engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students, ensuring they reach their full potential
Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to help them grow academically and personally
Encouraging students to explore classic and contemporary literature while developing critical thinking and communication skills
Promoting a positive classroom environment that supports both academic success and emotional well-being

‍ About You ‍
We are looking for an English teacher who:
Has a genuine passion for English literature and language, and loves sharing this passion with students
Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a relevant degree in English or a related field
Has experience teaching English across KS3 and KS4 (ideal but not essential)
Has a creative and dynamic approach to teaching, making lessons engaging and accessible for all students
Possesses excellent communication skills, both in the classroom and with colleagues, students, and parents
Is dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for every student
