We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our dynamic team starting in September. The ideal candidate will be an inspirational educator with a proven track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons that foster a love for English literature and language among students.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons to students of varying abilities.

Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.

Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.

Create a positive and stimulating learning environment.

Support and mentor students, fostering their academic and personal growth.

Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and professional development opportunities.

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience at the academy.

 

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Degree in English or a related subject.

Experience teaching English at secondary school level.

Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to inspire and motivate students.

Commitment to continuous professional development.
