Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in English Literature or related field

Education:

Bachelor's degree in English Literature or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the English curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Effective classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or English
  • Experience teaching English as a second language

Working Conditions:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
