Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced English Intervention Teacher to join our team, working with students at a fully inclusive 11-16 secondary school in Newcastle upon Tyne. Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver targeted English intervention sessions to small groups or individual students, aiming to bridge attainment gaps and boost confidence.

Assess students' needs and tailor intervention strategies to support their learning effectively.

Collaborate with classroom teachers to align intervention activities with the broader English curriculum.

Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialization in English or a related field.

Proven experience in delivering English interventions or teaching English at the secondary school level.

Strong understanding of effective intervention strategies and the ability to adapt them to individual student needs.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
