Educational Support Worker - SEN School
Location: East London
Salary: £90 - £110 per day, based on experience
Contract: Full-time / Part-time roles available
We are working with various Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools across East London who are dedicated to providing personalized learning experiences that empower every student to succeed. These schools foster an environment of care, respect, and growth, where every student is encouraged to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
The Opportunity:
We are looking for dynamic and compassionate Educational Support Workers. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children with SEN.
Your Role:
- Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging and tailored learning activities
- Offer direct support to students with their academic, social, and emotional needs
- Assist with classroom management and help maintain a positive, structured learning environment
- Provide personal care support when required, ensuring the dignity and well-being of each student
- Support the use of specialized resources and assistive technology to enhance learning
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to discussions on individual student progress
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students, staff, and families
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in an SEN or educational setting is preferred, but passion and dedication are just as important
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, creativity, and flexibility in supporting a diverse group of learners
- Ability to adapt to different situations and provide personalized support for students with a range of needs
- Relevant qualifications are a plus but not essential – we value experience, attitude, and commitment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
