Role Expectations:
As an ECT, your role will involve:
- Delivering engaging lessons in line with the UK curriculum, ensuring all students are involved and engaged.
- Managing classroom behavior effectively, maintaining a positive and focused learning environment.
- Providing support for students with diverse learning needs, including those with SEND, in collaboration with classroom teachers and support staff.
- Marking and assessing student work as required, providing constructive feedback to help students progress.
- Establishing strong relationships with students to foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
- Adhering to school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health & safety protocols.
- Remaining adaptable and flexible, as the role may involve working in different classes or across various schools.
