To support the teacher in the delivery of the Early Years Curriculum to our Early Years pupils, working in partnership with parents, teachers and the school to establish a supportive and nurturing learning environment in which children make excellent progress.

Job Duties:

  • Assist the teacher in delivering the Early Years Curriculum
  • Work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and the school to create a supportive learning environment
  • Support the learning and development of Early Years pupils
  • Help to establish and maintain a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

Education:

GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

Prior experience working with young children in an educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Helpful and positive attitude
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • Numeracy and literacy skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

This role involves working within an Early Years educational setting, supporting teachers and pupils. The working hours are full-time and may require flexibility.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
