Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for early years students
  • Assess and monitor student progress to ensure learning objectives are met
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with early years students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in early years education

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of early years curriculum and best teaching practises
  • Ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Proficient in using educational technology to enhance lessons

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Early Years Education
  • Experience working in a multicultural or diverse school environment

Working Conditions:

  • Work hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
  • Temporary position with the possibility of extension

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
