Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons and activities that stimulate children's curiosity and creativity.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where every child feels valued, respected, and encouraged to explore and learn.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, and communicate effectively to support children's holistic development.
- Assess children's progress and needs, and use this information to adapt teaching strategies and differentiate instruction to meet individual learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create an integrated curriculum that promotes continuity and progression in children's learning and development.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (or equivalent qualification).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), with a passion for working with children aged 3 to 5.
- Knowledge of early childhood development theories, best practices, and pedagogies, with experience implementing play-based and child-centered learning approaches.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Creativity, adaptability, and a positive attitude, with a commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
