Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging DT lessons that inspire creativity and innovation.
- Teach students a range of skills, from woodworking and metalwork to CAD design and electronics.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment conducive to hands-on learning and experimentation.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic and personal growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate DT across the curriculum and promote cross-disciplinary learning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in design & technology, Engineering, or related field; PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience in DT education
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring the next generation of designers and innovators.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
