Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging drama lessons for students of all abilities.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that inspires creativity, confidence, and a passion for drama.
- Organize and direct school productions, drama clubs, and extracurricular activities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and collaboration.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, Performing Arts, or a related field.
- Experience teaching drama at the secondary school level (preferred but not essential for the right candidate).
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
