Job Duties:

  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting
  • Assisting the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans
  • Providing one-on-one support to students as needed
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in Drama or related field
  • Experience working with individuals with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team

Experience:

Experience working with individuals with SEN

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of SEN support strategies
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching assistant qualification
  • Additional training in SEN support

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a classroom environment with students who have special educational needs. The position is temporary and requires part-time hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
