Protocol Education is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher on behalf of a reputable secondary school in Newcastle. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment that values creativity and innovation in teaching.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, practical, and theoretical Design Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Inspire students in areas such as product design, graphics, and resistant materials.
- Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing feedback that fosters growth.
- Maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment that promotes collaboration and problem-solving.
- Contribute to the school community, supporting projects and extracurricular activities related to Design Technology.
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK-recognized teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Design Technology in secondary schools.
- Strong knowledge of the DT curriculum and a passion for the subject.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
