Dance & Drama Teacher

Are you passionate about inspiring creativity and confidence in young people? Do you have a love for both drama and dance, and the ability to teach these performing arts in an engaging and dynamic way? We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Drama and Dance Teacher to join our team in Wolverhampton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate drama and dance lessons for students across various age groups.
  • Encourage students to develop their performance skills in acting, movement, and dance.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students, fostering their growth and confidence in the performing arts.
  • Collaborate with other staff to create a vibrant and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • A degree or relevant qualification in Drama, Dance, or Performing Arts.
  • Experience in teaching drama and/or dance to children or young people (school or extracurricular settings).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • A creative and flexible approach to teaching.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in performing arts education.
  • (Preferred but not essential) Experience directing or choreographing school productions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
