Job Description:

We are looking for a Creative Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our team in Bromley, Greater London. This is an urgent position on a contract basis, with full-time hours expected. The primary industry is Education and Training, offering a competitive salary of £85 - £100 per day on PAYE basis.

Job Duties:

  • Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering creative and engaging lessons
  • Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials and resources
  • Providing one-to-one support to students with their learning and development
  • Assisting in the management of the classroom and student behaviour
  • Participating in extracurricular activities and school events

Required Qualifications:

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Education:

Minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

Experience:

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in an educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Creativity and ability to engage students in learning
  • Good organisational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

First Aid and Safeguarding training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
