Exciting Opportunity for a Creative/Artistic Youth Worker
Protocol Education is thrilled to be recruiting for a dynamic and thriving SEND school in Chelmsford, seeking an individual with a strong background in the Creative Arts.
The school takes a holistic approach to learning, integrating sensory and therapeutic strategies into their daily schedule to provide a personalised curriculum within a calm, purposeful environment. ♂️✨ The students have a range of complex needs, including ASD, behavioral challenges, SEMH needs, and more. Each child has an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) tailored to their unique requirements and goals, which you’ll use to ensure consistency and effective support.
As part of the team, you’ll work one-on-one with pupils as well as within the classroom, requiring adaptability, proactivity, and a positive attitude. Your background in arts, sensory therapy, or drama will enable you to engage and support students in innovative and impactful ways. By leveraging your creativity, you’ll foster confidence, motivation, and meaningful progress in their education and emotional development.

Preferred Skill Set:
Creative arts background (degree preferred)
