Job Duties

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans left by the regular teacher
• Manage the classroom environment and ensure student behaviour is appropriate
• Provide instruction and support to students in line with the curriculum
• Assess student progress and provide feedback
• Communicate effectively with school staff and parents as needed

Required Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Experience working in a similar role
• Strong classroom management skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience

Previous experience working in a school setting

Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of the UK curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and approaches

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications in relevant subjects
• Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions

This role involves working in a school environment, following school hours and term times. Some flexibility may be required to cover additional classes or activities as needed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
