Job Duties:
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons to classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Follow the school's policies and procedures.
- Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working in a classroom setting.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different teaching environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of the UK curriculum.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
- Organisational skills and ability to manage classroom dynamics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in specific subject areas.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
Working Conditions:
- Temporary position with the possibility of extension.
- Full-Time hours, 5 days a week.
- Working within a school setting with students of varying ages.
