Job Duties:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons to classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Follow the school's policies and procedures.
  • Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a classroom setting.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different teaching environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of the UK curriculum.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Organisational skills and ability to manage classroom dynamics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional certifications in specific subject areas.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations.

Working Conditions:

  • Temporary position with the possibility of extension.
  • Full-Time hours, 5 days a week.
  • Working within a school setting with students of varying ages.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
