Job Duties:

- Delivering pre-planned lessons to students in the absence of the regular teacher - Maintaining a positive classroom environment conducive to learning - Managing student behaviour effectively - Providing feedback to the regular teacher on students' progress

Required Qualifications:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Enhanced DBS check

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

- Previous experience working in a similar role is desirable - Experience working with children or young adults

Knowledge and Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong classroom management skills - Ability to adapt quickly to different teaching environments - Good organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Additional teaching qualifications or certifications - First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

- Part-Time hours - Temporary position - Classroom-based work - Potential for travel within the Croydon area to various schools

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
