Job Duties:
- Supervising students in the absence of the regular teacher
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
- Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans provided by the regular teacher
- Assisting students with their work and providing support as needed
- Following school policies and procedures
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs or equivalent qualifications
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a classroom and engage with students
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent
Experience:
Experience working with children or young people is desirable
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of classroom management techniques
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant
- Additional qualifications in Education or related field
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a secondary school setting, following the school term calendar.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
